The ACCA exams are split into two levels: Fundamentals and Professional. There are 14 exams in total, and it is possible to obtain exemptions for prior learning for a maximum of the 9 Fundamental level papers. No exemptions are granted for the Professional level.

In addition to completing the exams, students are required to complete a module in Professional Ethics, and are also required to fulfil a Practical Experience Requirement (PER).
Rules Regarding ACCA Qualification Exams:

You need to be registered with ACCA in order to be able to register for any of the exams.

You may write a maximum of four exam papers per exam cycle. There are two exam cycles per year: 1 February to 31 July and 1 August to 30 January.

You have a maximum of 10 years in which to complete all of your exams.

Within those categories, however, you may take the exams in any order.

You need to make sure that you register for your exams before the closing dates. The closing dates are available on ACCA’s website.
