More about ACCA:

ACCA is the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. It is a professional body, and membership of ACCA can be obtained by completing all the necessary exams and by doing the compulsory module in Professional Ethics and fulfilling the Practical Experience requirement. ACCA is a global body, and its qualifications are therefore recognised all over the world. ACCA expects its members to meet high professional and ethical standards, which contributes to ACCA’s solid reputation.

ACCA courses and qualifications are designed to prepare students for professional practice as financial accountants, although there are also many other job opportunities available to those with ACCA qualifications.

What are the entry requirements for ACCA courses?

You do not need any particular academic background in order to enrol for an ACCA course – it is open to all. However, you do need to be able to read and write in English, and you should be competent in Mathematics. If you do not have any previous relevant qualifications, you will start at the foundational level. If you do have relevant prior qualifications, you may be granted certain exemptions, which would allow you to start higher up the route to becoming fully qualified under ACCA.
